Russian Royalty~ She was the wife of Czar Alexei Petrovich of Russia. She was the daughter of Louis Rudolph, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Princess Christine Louise of Oettingen-Oettingen. She remained Protestant, which many Russians held against her. Her marriage was politically arranged, loveless and abusive. She was not considered beautiful as she thin woman with Small Pox scars. Two children were born to this Royal union and one being Czar Peter II. She died in childbirth with Peter. Alexi had a mistress the entire time they were married.
