The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m., March 9, at the family residence in Holyoke. The remains, in a beautiful couch casket, were accompanied to Fairmont by her husband and daughters, Amanda and Emma, and grandson, Carl Shuler of Denver, and laid to rest Saturday afternoon by the side of a deceased daughter in this cemetery. Other mourners present were a sister, Mrs. A. Millen and husband of Republic City, Kansas, Earl Palmer of Clay Center, Mrs. William Roeder and Clarence Palmer of this city. On account of the illness of Mrs. C. Palmer, the remains were not taken to the Palmer home, but were viewed by friends at the depot.
Among the floral tributes were a large design by Holyoke friends, a handsome bouquet of carnations and a wreath by the Fairmont W.R.C. and flowers from Denver and Lincoln. The grave was lined also by the W.R.C. in sympathy with Mrs. A.A. Palmer.
