The funeral of Mrs. Martha Harbaugh, who died on Tuesday, at the home of her son, Mr. Charles L. Harbaugh, 23 South Arlington Avenue, took place, yesterday morning, from St. Peter's Catholic Church, Poppleton and Hollins Streets. Rev. John Graham celebrated the Requiem Mass.
The pall-bearers were Messrs. James Maddux, Cornelius Knott, John Towson, Frank Kiskey, Joseph Wernig and H. Helmling. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Liberty Road. George Smith had charge of the funeral.
Mrs. Harbaugh was 91 years old. She was born in Charles County, Maryland but has passed most of her life in Baltimore. Her maiden name was Thompson. She married Jerome Harbaugh of Georgetown, D.C., about 1830. Her husband died in 1885. Edward McC. Harbaugh of Springfield, Illinois and Charles Leonard Harbaugh, of Baltimore, her sons, survive her.
