JOHN W. KELLER
The funeral service for John W. Keller, 906 S. Sycamore, 71, who died Saturday as the result of a self-inflicted
gunshot wound at his home, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home with burial in Highland
Cemetery. Rev. William Weber will officiate.
Keller was born Dec. 23, 1910, south of Williamsburg. He attended Ottawa schools. He owned and operated Keller
Dairy. During World War II he worked at Sunflower Ordnance at DeSoto.
Returning to Ottawa, he worked at Curby Auto Supply and Meyers Auto Supply then moved to Salt Lake City to
work for Hercules Inc., in 1962. He returned to Ottawa in 1975.
He was a member of Trinty United Methodist Church and Ottawa Lodge No. 18 AF & AM.
On Nov. 26, 1932, he married Letha E. Ringle at Cherryvale. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Harder, Lenexa, and Miss Martha K. Keller, 623 Maple;three grandsons and a sister, Mrs. Dollie Head, 212 S. Cedar.
Ottawa Lodge will conduct the graveside service. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kansas Lung Association and left in care of the funeral home.
