Funeral services for Joseph Irvin Abell, 91 years of age, were held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the Clementsville Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Blanford in charge. Burial was in the Roley cemetery.
Mr. Abell died at his home on Casey Creek Route Friday. Mr. Abell, a native of the county and a member of the Clementsville Catholic Church, was a well known resident of his section. His wife died in 1933 and surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jora Mann, of New Hope, Mrs. Bessie Wethington, Clementsville, and four brothers and sisters: Wm. R. Abell and Miss Lizzie Abell, Louisville, Eugene Abell and J. C. Abell, Casey Creek.
