TAYLOR COUNTY KENTUCKY OBITUARY – 1987
Lucia Abell, Rt. 1, Casey Creek, died Thursday, May 21, 1987, at the Westlake Cumberland Hospital in Columbia after an extended illness. Mrs. Abell was the daughter of the late Zachariah Mann and Mary Brown Mann. She was a member of the Roley Christian Church. Mrs. Abell is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter, Edward Abell, San Antonio, TX, William Ray Abell, Casey Creek, Johnny Lee Abell, Campbellsville, and Lucille Blair, Wadsworth, OH; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at the Roley Christian Church with burial in the Roley Cemetery. The Rev. Erwin Ray and the Rev. Elmer Wheatley officiated. Lyon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were Hai Tran, Rudy Issie, Eddie Abell, Greg Abell, Jimmy Blair, Mike Callahan and Roger Witham. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Greer, Edward Walker, Lloyd Hicks, John Peckinpaugh, Jack Webb and Clarence Sween.
