IRA LEE GENTRY was born November 1889 in Starr, Anderson County South Carolina and died April 17, 1953 in Anderson; Anderson County South Carolina, son of William Harper (Will) Gentry and Sally (Sarah) Elizabeth Fain. He married Alice Etta Brewster about November 1910. She was born January 26, 1895 in Comer, Georgia and died 1983 in Greenville County South Carolina.

Children: Frank, Madge Ruth, Floyd Amiel, John William, Helen Margaret, Sarah Beulah, and Leroy Ira "Lee" Gentry.
