Houston County Courier - April 15, 2004 Obit for Miss Royce Ann Heard, age 60 of Flagstaff, Arizona, formerly of Crockett, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2004 in the Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona, Miss Heard was born July 7, 1943 in Crockett and had been living in Flagstaff, Arizona for the past 5 years, previously living in Crockett. Miss Heard was a retired teacher and she also worked as a massage therapist. Miss Heard was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crockett. Survivors include her aunts Eloise Heard Knox, of Crockett, Martha Heard, of Canton; numerous cousins and other relatives. Preceded in death by her parents Reese and Lucy Heard. Funeral services for Miss Royce Ann Heard were held Saturday, April 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the first Baptist Church in Crockett with the Rev. Frank Oswald and the Rev. Keeney Dickenson officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
