Gladys was married to Ralph Richard Fluney at the Wilkie, Saskatchewan United Church Manse, on July 2, 1948. Ralphs best man was his brother Bob, and Gladys bridesmaid was her best friend , Doris Rivett, from Wilkie, Saskatchewan.
Gladys was a teacher-having taught at Birch Hills, Sk, Cutknife and the Senlac, Sk. areas.
She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She loved to prepare special holiday meals for them , and she was well known for her tasty homemade cookies.Cooking and baking were favored enjoyments.
Gladys had a green thumb- and her geraniums, begonias, impatiens, and flowering Christmas Cactus alwys had blooms year in and year out. She enjoyed working in the garden and appreciated the garden bounty.
Visiting with family, friends and others was fun for her. She had a curious mind and liked to know all the news and to share her family information with others.
