Ben H. Parsons, 81, of 219 East South avenue, Noble passed away at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral rites will be held Saturday at the Noble Funeral Home with Rev. J. C. Kindred in charge. Interment will be at Crest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Parsons was a native of Decker Township, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parsons. He lived on a farm in Decker Township for many years. He had lived in Noble in recent years after retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel; two sons, Ben Everett Parsons of Alva, Oklahoma and Charles Parsons of Fairfield; and five daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Willena) Jones, Mrs. Corwin (Marjorie) Baker, both of Noble, Mrs. Wilvin (Madelaine) Stoltz of Rt 4, Olney, Mrs. Ida Dickerson of Noble and Mrs. Allen (Pauline) Bradfield of Vincennes. A sister, Mrs. John (Madge) Osterman of Rt 1, Noble; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.
