Mrs. Schuler Dies, Leaves Relatives in Rome.
Oneida, May 26.—At her home, 1 Furnace avenue, this city, at 6 o'clock last evening, occurred the death of Mrs. Matilda Schuler, widow of the late Leo Schuler.
Mrs. Schuler was born In Germany, April 15, 1852, and came to this country when quite a young girl. She lived in the town of Verona until about a year ago, when she removed to this city. Mrs. Schuler was a woman of estimable disposition, who was highly regarded by all who knew her. she was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Her husband died about four years ago.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Edward and William., of Verona; Albert, Carl, Leo, Louis and Francis of Rome; Mrs. M. J. McGarty of Rome, and Mrs. Henry Smutz of Oneida, with whom she lived. She also leaves a brother In Wisconsin.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock, with Rev. Father Michael Steins officiating. Burial will be made in St. Francis' Cemetery, Durhamvllle
