JACOB UHRICK DIES SUDDENLY - Lifelong Adams County Resident Dies At Home Of Son Thursday

Jacob Uhrick, 81, life long resident of Adams county, died suddenly at the home of his son, James Uhrick, 1232 West Main street, Fort Wayne, Thursday night at 7:40 o'clock.
Mr. Uhrick made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Steigmeyer in this city, and with his son, James Uhrick in Fort Wayne for the past several years. He had gone to Fort Wayne a week ago to visit with his son. He died suddenly of a heart attack.
Jacob Freeman Uhrich was born in Monroe, November 30, 1851, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Uhrick. He was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Johnson, who preceded in death 17 years ago.
He had engaged in farming until recent years. He was a member of the Winchester United Brethren Church.
Surviving are the daughter and the son, one brother, Samuel Uhrick, Fort Wayne, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great greatgrandchild.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, standard time, at the James Uhrick residence in Fort Wayne, 1232 West Main street, and at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Monroe. Burial will be made in the Ray cemetery near Monroe.
The body will be removed to the Uhrick home in Fort Wayne this evening from the S. E. Black Funeral Parlors in this city.
