Ms. Schimmer was born Nov. 20, 1925, at Hastings to Louis and Rheva (Warren) Evans.
She was preceded in death by; her parents and sons, Gary and John, who died as an infants.
Survivors are; children and their spouses, Rod and Teresa Schimmer of North Platte, Julie and Rocky Stethem of Burwell, Marty and Terry Rowse of Burwell, and Peg and Bill Schmitz of North Platte; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Shirley Evans of Grand Island,; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Tom Barber, and Peggy and Vern Frederickson all of Sacramento, CA. and host of friends and relatives
