Donna Hodge Cathey, 63, of Jesup, Ga., died Friday, March 23, 2007. The Wayne County native was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was a homemaker, seamstress and interior designer. Survivors are: her husband, Ted Cathey of Jesup; a daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Eddie Lott of Statesboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Sharon Cathey of Jesup; her mother,Olene Hodge of Odum; a sister, Sherry O'Gorman of Brunswick; three grandchildren, Dustin Cathey of Brunswick, Braden Lott of Statesboro, Asher Cathey of Jesup; a step-grandson, Gavin Jones of Jesup; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, from the Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vann Dempsey officiating.
Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Active pall bearers will be: Ricky Aspinwall, Bobby Hughes, Steve Deaton, Carl Rozier, Rudy Anderson, Steve Kicklighter and Mitch Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be the Steve Sunday School Class.
Visitation was held from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
