SWEETWATER —
Jimmy L. "Tookie" Gardner, 64, died Saturday, April 22, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Baker officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana.
Mr. Gardner was born in Hamlin and was a longtime resident of Sweetwater. He was a truck driver for Quality Pump Service. He married Constance Ann Brannon in 1960 in Sweetwater. He married Melba Easterwood in 1995 in Abilene. Both preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son of Sweetwater; four brothers,five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society,
