I believe him to be the last child of Frederick S. Jackson and Mary Lucretia Booth Jackson.
F.S. died the next year in 1863.
I don't know why he could possibly be living with a half-brother in Mexia, Limestone, Texas on 1880 Census. If indeed it is the correct Benjamin W. Jackson, who was born to F.S. and first wife. (NME UNKNOWN). Emmett Booth could very well be their child and named after his mother's maiden name Booth.
He shows to be married to Emma Ellen "Nellie" Beckham. On someone's family record. Ihave not found her buried by him. I will have to research this.
He is buried in the same plot with family members assuming to be his parents. J4.
The years all fit and the names so I am assuming this. I will keep searching to find out for sure.
Will up date. properly.
NB
