FENTRESS - Mrs. Eva O'Neal Heffington, 40, wife of James Edward Heffington of Fentress, Norfolk County, died yesterday at 4:20 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital after an illness of two weeks.
A lifelong resident of the county she was a daughter of William Stephen O'Neal and the late Mrs. Mary Phillips O'Neal. She was a member of Raleigh Heights Baptist Church.
Besides her father and her husband surviving are two sons, Henry L. Shipp Jr. of South Norfolk and Robert Shipp of Tacoma, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Webb Jones of Norfolk County, Mrs. L.M. Ambrose of South Norfolk and Mrs. R.H. Dortmundt of Baltimore; and one brother, William S. O'Neal Jr. of South Norfolk.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk.
