The son of George & Magdalena (Weyer) Eisenhouer, he married Leah Baum and fathered the children you see linked below. In 1860, he was a laborer presumably living with his family somewhere in York County, Pennsylvania, although he is not found in that census with certainty. He may have been a resident of Newberry Township, but that township's 1860 census is largely unreadable. He stood 5' 11" tall and had black hair and dark eyes.

A Civil War veteran, he served two terms of service:
1. Drafted at the stated age of thirty-four in York County November 8, 1862, mustered into federal service at York November 10 as a private with Co. C, 166th Pennsylvania infantry (aka "Drafted Militia"), and honorably discharged with his company July 28, 1863, in York.
2. Federally drafted at the stated age of thirty-seven, mustered into federal service at Carlisle June 9, 1864, as a private with a detachment of the 149th Pennsylvania Infantry, and honorably discharged with his company May 14, 1865.

At his death, he was a resident of Goldsboro, York County.
