Mrs. Peter Persons, residing in the town of Decatur on R.D. 2 from Worcester, died Friday night of last week after a lingering illness from liver trouble, aged sixty-three years. She was the daughter of the late Ezra Haynor of South Hill, that town, and had always resided in the vicinity. She is survived by one brother, Charles Haynor, residing on the old home farm; two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Ives and Mrs. William Goodenough, both of Worecester; her husband; one son, E.W. Persons of Worcester; and one daughter, Mrs. F.S. Wright of Westford.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Decatur Methodist Episcopal church of which she was an attendant.
