Mrs. Vertie Klecker, 83, of Newark, mother of T. Lawrence Klecker of 951 Laurel Avenue, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday in a Cambridge Hospital.
A daughter of Lemuel and Eliza Oatman Westbrook, she was born Oct. 9, 1876 near Newark. Her husband, Theodore, died July 28, 1955.
Mrs. Klecker was a life member of the First Presbyterian a Church of Newark.
Also surviving are a son, Dr. Lester F. Klecker of Newark; one grandson; and a brother, Emmett Westbrook of Newark.
Friends may call at the Ross Henderson Funeral Home in Newark after 7 p.m. today. Dr. E. Hoyte Kerr will conduct services in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
