ALINE - Services for Elder Cecil Beasley, 68, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Oaky Grove Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Elders Tom Akins and Terry Lynn will officiate.
Born in Johnson County, Mr. Beasley was the son of the late Manning E. and Rebecca Powell Beasley. He was retired as a Primitive Baptist Elder and was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in the Aline Community. He also worked for many years as a locksmith. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Beasley and Manning Beasley Jr. Mr. Beasley died Saturday.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 until 9 p.m.
