Mr. Beasley was born August
21, 1924 in Johnson County,
Ga. He was preceded in death
by his parents, the late
Manning Elijah Beasley and
Rebecca L. Powell Beasley,
his wife, Donieree Poole
Beasley, a son, Ovid Beasley,
four brothers, Clarence Beasley
Beasley, James Edward Beasley,
Cecil Beasley and Manning E.
Beasley, Jr. and a sister,
Lucille Beasley.
He was ordained as a minister
on November 21, 1958 and has
served as a Progressive Primitive
Baptist minister for over 50
years. During his years as a
minster, he served 10 churches
preached over 500 funerals and
performed countless wedding
ceremonies. He was a member
of Sardis Primitive Baptist
Church and also retired as a
farmer. Mr. Beasley passed
passed away Tuesday, January
21, 2014.
The family received friends
from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday,
January 22, 2014 at the funeral
Home.Progressive Primitive Baptist
ministers will serve as honorary
escorts.
