Miller Services
A graveside service for Alvin Miller will be today at 2 p.m. in the Highland Cemetery.
Miller, a former U. S. government employee, died Wednesday of natural causes in the Park Place Nursing Center. He was 87.
Miller was born in Standberry, Mo., and educated in King City, Mo. He moved to Montana following graduation from high school, and settled in Anaconda and worked at the smelter.
He later worked as a steamfitter for the government and various companies. He also worked as a steamfitter in Alaska, and moved to Great Falls following his retirement. He was a member of the Steamfitters Union.
Survivors include sons, Jim of Anaheim, Calif. and Earl of Fairbanks, Alaska; a sister, Ruth Frank of Anaconda; a brother, Carol Miller of San Pedro, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
