Frank Bedford died at his home at Harris, this county, on Sunday evening at 8 o'clock, of peritonitis. He was about 48 years of age and was born at the Bedford homestead at Harris. His father, Andrew Bedford, died a number of years ago and his mother, whose maiden name was Isabella Palmer, died several years ago. Two years ago Mr. Bedford was sick of typhoid fever and for several days layed at death's door, and never regained his former health. His only son, Clifford, 18 years of age, was sick of the same disease at the time and died. The deceased leaves a widow, Minnie, whose maiden name was Decker, and who is a sister of Benjamin Decker of Monticello, besides two sisters, Mrs. L. Forbes and Mrs. Arthur Gordon, both of Strongtown, who are the only survivors of the Andrew Bedford family. Funeral was held on Wednesday and interment in Brookside Cemetery at Harris.
