JOHN PLYBON DIES; RITES SATURDAY
Funeral Services for John P. Plybon, 78, of 1003 W. Emmons St. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Precht Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Frank L. Park, pastor of the
First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
A retired farmer and employee of Kaiser Refractories, Mr. Plybon died at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Audrain Hospital.
Son of Joseph B. and Mary F. Dillon Plybon, Mr. Plybon was born May 6, 1889, in Williamsburg. He was married to Daisy McGinnis, who died in 1946. On May 6, 1950, he was married to Mrs. Josephine Lammers O'Neal, who survives survives at the home.
Mr. Plybon was a member of the Baptist Church and active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Buell Plybon of Warsaw; a daughter, Mrs. James Love of Edina; Three brothers, Dewey Plybon of Mexico; Luther Plybon of Centralia and Harold Plybon of St. Louis; a sister Mrs. Carey McGee of Mexico; and 11 step children, Charles O'Neal, Chancey O'Neal, Mrs. Nadine Day and Mrs. Joan Kniepfel of Mexico, Forrest O'Neal of Rolla, Roy O'Neal of Union City, Ind., Robert O'Neal of Chicago, Ned O'Neal and John O'Neal of Dodge City, KS, Ollie O'Neal of Prairie Home, Mol., and Mrs. June Paige of San Francisco, Calif.
Also surviving are 53 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
