Lizzie Schlechtweg Moor Chew Jones, death certificate gives her mother as Mary Danz. The death certificate has no family members on it. Her parents are Ernest Friedrich Schlechtweg and Anna Elizabeth Danz. Her parents came from Urnshausen, Thuringen Germany on the ship Washington. Two weeks later, they were married in Franklin County Indiana. It is believed that Anna had family already living in Indiana, they both knew exactly where they were going, when they left New York. They came through Castle Gardens. Someone misinterpreted her name as Mary Dang on another memorial which I have asked the person to delete her memorial. Aunt Elizabeth (Lizzie) married Alfred Lennox Chew on February 25, 1914 Rush County Indiana. Married Joseph B.Jones between 1926-1933. Most likely in Rushville, Rush County Indiana.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schlechtweg and daughters Misses Anna, Mildred and Bertha spent Sunday as guests of Mr and Mrs Alfred Chews in Rushville.
