TOMMIE B. BROOKS
Services for Tommie B. Brooks, 79, of 4024 First St., who died Friday of a heart attack at Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Arnold's Highland Park Funeral Home, with burial at Chariton.
Mr. Brooks, a native of Ames, had lived in Des Moines 33 years. He was a member of the Highland Park American Legion Post 374 and was a Navy veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Highland Park United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Fern; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Farr of Abilene, Tex., and Mrs. Pearl Matthews of Sondheimer, La.; and a brother, Earl, of Ames.
