She was a daughter of the late William Henry Bailey and Laura Myrtice Gurley Bailey. Widow of Alvin Oscar Wilson.

She was the oldest member of Oakwood Baptist Church, the Alathean Sunday School Class and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents and husband of 60 years, Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by her brothers, Eber Bailey, Denver Bailey, Sid Bailey, Gerald Bailey and her sisters, Cora Ayers, Lessie Powell, Ruby Vickery and Judy Wilson.
