Ida Evitt Stinnett, 102, of Evensville, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at Spring City Health Care.

She was a life-long resident of Rhea County and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was also a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Evitt and Missouri Johnson, her husband, Roy Stinnett, son, Max Stinnett and nephew, Roy L. Davis.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Carney of Dayton; Ruby Daugherty of Knoxville; grandson, Harold Newby of Spring City; seven other grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great, great grandchildren, several great, great, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery.
