Max Stinnett, 84, of Crossville, passed away June 2, 2001. Funeral services will be conducted today, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN, with burial in Smyrna Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Newby will officiate.
Mr. Stinnett was born March 2, 1917, in Rhea County, TN.
He was retired from Combustion Engineering, and was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Stinnett of Crossville; mother, Ida Stinnett of Spring City, TN; daughters, Michelle Reynolds of Crossville, Maxine Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, and Alexia Ann Rogers of Dayton; sons, Carlos Stinnett of Mt. Home, ID, and Edward Stinnett and Rocky Stinnett, both of Dayton; stepsons, Wayne Revis and Tim Revis, both of Crossville; sister, Lois Carney of Dayton; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cleo Stinnett, Charlie Stinnett and Elmer Stinnett; and sisters, Violia Short and Robadean Ritter.... -- Crossville Chronicle, Jun 2001
