Donna Beatrice(Whitacre)Fox White was called home to Celebrate her first Christmas in heaven on December 18, 2006 from Des Moines, IA. She had been living with her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Howard Robb for the past two years.

Donna was born to Bushrod Whitacre and Kathryn Foster Whitacre on November 4, 1910 at Mystic, IA. She was united in marriage on March 27, 1929 to William Burton Fox in Kansas City, MO. To this Union was born six children; Bill, Donald Gene, Larry, Judith, Douglas and Sydney. On February 14, 1998 she was united in marriage to Earl White in Centerville. Preceding her in death were her parents, her two husbands, Bert Fox and Earl White, her sister, Ruth Mosbey, and one son, Larry of Phoenix, AZ. Left to follow in her footsteps are three sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Joy of Modesto, CA, Donald Gene and Janice of Galax, VA, Doug and Reta of Colorado Springs, CO and Anita Fox Parnin of Scottsdale, AZ, two daughters and sons-in-law: Judi and Howard Robb of Norwalk, IA and Syd and Del Ashmead of Jacksonville, FL. Also are seventeen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Donna accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior in 1932 and remained a faithful follower to the end, raising her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. For many years she taught Sunday school, was church pianist and until moving to her daughters was orgganist at the Rock Valley Church of God in Centerville, IA.

Donna Beatrice Whitacre Fox White leaves a legacy, and lived her life to the fullest, to her family and friends who will continue to hold her up in high esteem. Her children rise up and call her blessed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, December 22, 2006 at the Rock Valley Church of God, Centerville, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Numa Cemetery. A visitation will be held all day Thursday at the funeral home with family present from 6-8 pm. A memorial has been established to the Rock Valley Church of God and may be left at the funeral home.
