dies in Ottumwa

FREMONT—Mrs. Ethel Elnora Robbins, 78, of 229 Northview, Ottumwa, formerly of Fremont, died at 5:05 p.m. Friday (March 22, 1963 at the Ottumwa Hospital, where she had been a patient since last July 24.

She was born near Fremont on June 4, 1884, the daughter of Lewis and Margaret Yeoman Roquet, and was married on July 22, 1903, to Charles O. Robbins, who died in December of 1953.

She lived in Ottumwa for the past 10 years, and prior to that in the Martinsburg community. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist church in Ottumwa.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Sauer of Fremont and Mrs. Garnet Jones of San Francisco Calif.; two grand-children; and three brothers, Hamer Roquet of Long Beach, Calif., Ira Roquet of Fremont and Earl Roquet of Des Moines.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one son in infancy, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Fremont funeral chapel.

Fremont—Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Elnora Robbins, 78, Ottumwa, who died at Ottumwa hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fremont funeral chapel, with Rev. Ellsworth Walker officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Township cemetery, with the Fremont funeral chapel in charge.
