Mrs. Mollie Wamsley, 72, wife of Walter (Jack) Wamsley, Putnamville, passed away at her home Monday morning at 4:30
Mrs. Wamsley was born March 22, 1889 in Cloverdale the daughter of James A. and Susan Hall Stanton. She attended the Higgins Creek school east of Cloverdale. On January 23, 1923 she married to Walter (Jack) Wamsely.
Mrs. Wamsley fell at her home in April and suffered a broken ankle and has been in failing health since that time. Her cheerful disposition and friendly smile had won her a wide circle of friends wherever she went.
She was a member of the Church of Christ of Cloverdale a charter member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 1550, disabled Veterans Auxiliary and the Warren Township Home Demonstration club, and America Legion Auxibvliary, No. 58.
Survivors are: the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Mae Scobee and Mrs. Martha Hughes, Putnamville; Mrs. Mary McNeeley, Moorsville; four sisters, Mrs. Lou Eggers, Cloverdale; Mrs. Ida Evens, Huntington; Mrs. Allie Jones, Putnamville and Mrs. Bill Chadwick, Brazil; four grandchildren; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by on grandson and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Hospkins-Walton Funeral Home, Interment will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hopkins-Walton Funeral Home after 7 o'clock this evening.

Mrs. MARTHA STANTON DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER IN BRAZIL
Mrs. Martha Susan Statnon, age 73 years, died shortly after one o'clock Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ira Chadwick in Brazil. She had made her home there for some time and her death was not unexpected, because she had been in failing health for the past several years.
The deceased is survived by six (6) children, five (5)daughters, Mrs. Ida Evans, Washington township; Mrs. Alva Jones, Warren township; Mrs. Jesse Eggers, Cloverdale; Mrs. Mollie Wamsley, Warren township; and Mrs. Ira Chadwick, Knightsville, and one son William Stanton, Indianapolis, one brother William Hall, Cloverdale, fourteen (14) grandchildren and four (4) great grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Church of Christ at Cloverdale, with the Rev. T. J. Nixon in charge. Interment will be in the Cloverdale cemetery.
