Mrs. Allie O. Jones, 93 Route 1, Cloverdale, died at her home near Putnamville yesterday at 12:30 p.m.
She was born in Putnam County February 26, 1880, the daughter of James Stanton and Susan Hall Jones. She married Alvah Jones, who preceded her in death in 1939.
Mrs. Jones is survived by two sons, Lee R. Jones, Route 1, Cloverdale, and Raleigh Jones, Bloomington.
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale, the Rev. Siebert McCullough officiating.
Burial will be in the Putnamville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
