After living on various farms in the area, the family finally settled in Pleasant Township.
Elizabeth married Hugh Mooney in 1848 in Perry County. Together they had a family of nine children: Daniel, James, Ella, Robert, and five more names unknown.
Elizabeth Bennett Mooney died in 1908 at the age of 80 years, 28 days.
Her funeral service was held at St. Bernard church, Corning, Ohio with internment in Chapel Hill cemetery.
