Louis Schultz, Sr. of Brownsville died suddenly Thursday morning February 14 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Dreymilller of Beloit. Death was apparently caused by a heart attack. Mr. Schultz had been in good health and had been helping occasionally at the Jacobsen Feed mill in Brownsville.
He was born in the village of Brownsville, July 31, 1890. On December 12, 1918, he married Minnie Kutz. He spent most of his life farming in the Brownsville area. His wife died in 1938, and one daughter, Margaret, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are six children, Norbert and Louis, Jr. of Brownsville, Rayno of Iron Ridge, Norma Erdman of Theresa, Doris Friday of Iron Ridge and Gladys Dreymiller of Beloit; and two brothers, Hubert of Brownsville and Theodore of Compton, Calif.
The body was in state at the Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira, and funeral services were held in St. Paul's Lutheran church. Brownsville, at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 17, with the Rev. Huth officiating.
