Norbert served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during WWII, He was employed at Mayville Metal, retiring in 1982. He was a member at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, American Legion Post 347 of Lomira, VFW Post 8092 of Oakfield and Brownsville Lions Club. He was past commander of American Legion Post 347 and past fire chief of the Brownsville Fire Department.
