Aged Nappanee Lady Passes Away Monday Afternoon.
Mrs. Sarah McDonald, aged 80, widow of J.J. McDonald, died Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of her daughter Mrs. William Birthwhistle in Nappanee. She was born in Starke county, Ohio, and had been a resident of Elkhart county for fifty-four years. She is survived by six sons and three daughters, Chas. McDonald of Goshen; William McDonald and Mrs. Birthwhistle of Nappanee; John E. McDonald of Cant county, Mich.; Mrs. Mary E. Rohrer, of Arcade, Texas; Mrs. Harvey Wise of Samsel, Oklahoma; Thomas and Frank McDonald of Kosciusko county; and Martin L. McDonald, of Harrison township, Elkhart county.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 from the First M.E. church in Nappanee, interment in the Union cemetery at Union Center.
