Death Summoned B. M. Johnson of Maplewood

Lived in Community For Forty-Three Years;
Funeral Saturday
On Tuesday, Feb. 13, death summoned Borre M. Johnson of Maplewood township at 9:45 in the forenoon.
Mr. Johnson was born in Norway Nov. 12, 1865 and he was 74 years old on his last birthday. He came to this country 55 years ago and continuously resided in the Maplewood community for the past 43 years. He was married to Eliva Sorenson, who survives him. Six children also survive, namely Bernoff and Edwin of Maplewood; Morgan, who is employed with the Saul Motor Co; Bennie, who is empolyed [sic] at the Lee Chevrolet Co.; Mrs. George Svare of Vergas; and Mrs. John Rudman of Hunter, N. D.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, Feb. 17, from the Pelican Valley church with the Rev. E. O. Stenson officiating, and burial will be in the church cemetery northwest of the village.
