Armas 'Finny' Kajander, 81, of Keewatin died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1921 in Sparta, Minn., to Matt and Hilja (Lampi) Kajander.
He grew up and attended school in Keewatin. He moved to Milwaukee where he worked for Allis Chalmers Tractor Co. He returned to Keewatin several years later.
He was a U.S. Veteran having served in the Army during World War II.
Armas is survived by aunts: Gladyce Lampe, Esther Nevala and Vienna Perela; several cousins; and special friends: Louis Alar and Steven Alar.
