ETHEL FLUKE
Services for Ethel Fluke, 76, of 3022 49th St. will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Mrs. Fluke died of acute leukemia Wednesday at home.
She was born in Russell and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a self-employed piano instructor and a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Collins; a son, Dennis of Des Moines; a daughter, Catherine Courtney of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Keith Banta of Des Moines and Wayne Banta of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Frances Schmidt of Longville, Minn.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Mercy Hospice.
