Luella Mae Roseberry Warden, 81, of Max Meadows died Friday, April 23, 2010. Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Jenkins officiating. Interment was in the Jones Cemetery. She was born Nov. 20, 1928, in West Virginia, daughter of the late Archie J. and Gladys Lilly Roseberry. She was a member of the Austinville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo J. Warden; and two sisters, Shirley Burgis and Brenda Sprinkel. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Diana Davidson and Michael of Virginia Beach; three sons and a daughter-in-law, James "Jimmy" Warden and Linda of Stafford, Gary Warden of Virginia Beach and Bruce Warden of Max Meadows; two foster children, Kenneth Overstreet and Gloria Overstreet; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth LaPrarie and Adrian of Deville, La.; 10 grandchildren, James Jr., Robert, Eric, David, Luke, Jamie, Katherine, Lisa, Amanda and John; and eight great-grandchildren.
