Lucia Maddox Gunnels, "Byma" died peacefully at home June 27, 2016, at the age of 84.
Lucia was born November 17, 1931 to Emmett and Sarah Maddox. She loved life, gardening, and animals of all kinds. She was loved, and will be greatly missed.
Lucia was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Talmadge Gunnels. She is survived by her son, Kenny Blakney and wife of Oklahoma, and Sara Doherty and husband of Louisiana, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lucia's funeral is scheduled for Friday, July 1st at 1 PM at Palms funeral home in Angleton Tx. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
