Mrs. Chrz was born Mary Jilek March 15, 1881 in Albert Lea Minnesota, and married James Chrz there April 17, 1906. They resided in Albert Lea until moving to the town of Goetz in 1924. Her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge.
One daughter Miss Libby Chrz and one son Frank, both of Goetz, survive her. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Louisa Jicha of Austin, Minnesota, Mrs. Tena Penkava of Glenville, Minnesota, and Mrs. Thomas Buresh of Cadott; and one brother, William Jilek of Hayward, Minnesota.
Mrs. Raymond Post, accompanied by Mrs. Del Forman, sang two hymns at the service Monday afternoon at the Leiser Funeral Home. Officiating was the Reverend Burl Ratzsch of the Cadott Gospel Tabernacle.
Serving as pallbearers were Ed Moucha, Joe Popelka, Richard Popelka, Joe Motycka, Albert Nesvacil and John Kysilko. Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
