    Robert L. Almasy
Age 60, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2001. He was born on September 25, 1940, the son of Edward and Martha (Playfair) Almasy. He graduated from Joliet Township High School , with the class of 1958. Attended the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL., graduating with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree. Bob was united in marriage to Sandra Behringer on May 27, 1967. For many years Bob worked for the Farmers Insurance Group and The Wausau Insurance Co., and most recently with the Community Living Alliance.
    He is survived by his wife, Sandy, son Edward Almasy of Madison; daughter Laura Almasy, of San Antonio, TX; son Matthew Almasy of Middleton; sisters Jo Ridley of Springfield, IL, Andrea Paul of Shorewood, IL; pet cockatiel, Pete. Nieces and Nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    A Memorial Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 2650 Plainfield Rd. Joliet, IL. Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Peter Holmer presiding.
    Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
