My Grandfather was a World War I veteran. He was born in Indian Territory of what is now Oklahoma. He was a kind, and gentle person. I spent my childhood years growing up around him listening to his stories of the past. He is greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He and my Grandmother were married on August 16, 1916 in Bennington, Oklahoma.
