William L Zarges died of a fractured skull in the war, but family information says he died in a motorcycle accident. [In the war perhaps?]

My father, William's brother, always talked of the motorcycle accident and how upset his mother Anna was. Anna insisted that the motorcycle be taken away.

William's military stone is engraved:
BTRY E 41st ARTY, CAC APR 30, 1922 AE 24
He is also engraved on a stone with his mother, Anna Linnes Zarges.
