Mary Luanna (Lula) Stevens was born March 26, 1875 in Polk County, NE. and died Dec. 13, 1956 at Stromsburg, NE. On Nov. 11, 1896 she married Joseph C. McClure, born May 23, 1870 at New Bedford, IL. Mr. McClure died June 16, 1952. Both Mr. and Mrs. McClure taught in the rural schools in Polk County before their marriage. They lived on the Jamier Edmund Stevens homestead till 1928 when they moved to Polk, NE. Both are buried in the Polk Cemetery.

Mary Luanna (Lula) Stevens was born March 26, 1875 in Polk County, NE. and died Dec. 13, 1956 at Stromsburg, NE. On Nov. 11, 1896 she married Joseph C. McClure, born May 23, 1870 at New Bedford, IL.
