Victor R. Pomranke, 86, former Town of Schleswig resident, died Monday evening January 16, 1989, at Manitowoc Health Care Center, where he resided for the past five years. Funeral services will be at Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel. Rev. John Horner-Ibler will officiate with burial in the Ucker Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.
Mr. Pomranke was born August 19, 1902, at Stockbridge, Wisconsin, son of the late William and Ida Kletzien Pomranke. He attended grade school in the town of Schleswig and farmed in the town of Schleswig all his life, until his retirement. Mr. Pomranke worked for approximately nine years with Koeppen Fur Farm.
