At their home in Canyonville, Oregon, Feb. 14th, 1898, Mrs. Nellie Moore, aged 57 years, 4 months and 27 days. Sister Moore was born in Tennessee in September, 1841, and with her parents moved to Oregon in 1859. She was married to her now bereaved husband Feb. 10, 1861, and with him shared the toils and trials, the joys and sorrows incident to frontier life for 37 years. There were three children born to them to cheer their home, all being sons, and four grandchildren, all living. She has been a resident of Douglas county since her marriage, living and dying among the friends of her young womanhood. Funeral services held in the M.E.
